Obviously, as Chlamydia is bacterial and SARS is viral, the two diseases are not caused by the same vector, but there could still be an interesting link between the two.
It could be that the original (ProtoSARS) virus was sexually transmitted. Perhaps the original index patient was also infected with Chlamydia.
Maybe Chlamydia sufferers are more susceptible to SARS because the former disease weakens them in some important way. If this is true, it could be a clue to finding a cure.
