I was in Cuba about a year ago. Went to Havana, had a lot of fun and games.
Looking at Santiago De Cuba as a return visit
Anyone been lately? How's the fun and games?

Have not been to Santiago recently, But will suggest staying at a hotel in the city. Casa Granda is an older hotel right on the city square, or Melia Santiago which is modern with western style places to eat at in more the suburbs a short cab ride to the city center. Some of the resorts are a long way from the city with nothing much around them.

I usually get an all inclusive package paid for using AirMiles so you end up a a resort somewhere. That gets me there, gives me a home base to leave my stuff, a place to go to if I need a rest and a meal, it's all free so off to town I go, staying wherever my little heart desires...
