IF you listen to the entire piece of news footage. What he was saying (in slightly different words) is that it all seemed unreal to him that his tenants committed the crime.

He was not saying that he didn't believe they had committed the murders!

You do know there are 2 separate video clips, and the landlords answer likely has nothing to do with the reporters question. Also the video title has nothing to do with the content of either clip.
