Samsung Galaxy Note phone

I've been waiting for the new 3rd generation Nexus phone to come out for my next upgrade. But I've just seen this upcoming Samsung release and I'm really tempted. As a former Palm Pilot user, I LOVE the idea of having a stylus. Since the Nexus is most likely a Samsung too, it should be something special though!

Really? The Galaxy S here now needs to go into the shop. Got it earlier this year and the lag times have been increasing and now have to recharge it everyday. Hope that they don't do a wipe of it.

Galaxy S works best with a different ROM and is one of the easiest phones to accomplish that with... Cyanogen is a no brainer.

As for the Note, it's just too large.. Give me that resolution in 4.5" or lower and Ice Cream Sandwich then I'll be impressed. Until then I'll wait for Prime to show up next month.

Never tried anything Cyanogen, but Team Whiskey's Bionix is INCREDIBLY fast, sleek and very snappy.
May give Cyanogen a shot sometime.

I agree it's a bit large. But I think I could get used to it given that I use my phone for it's non phone abilities all day long. I think the pros might outweigh the cons. That said, my money is still on the Nexus Prime.
