Just called Judy on her cell after seeing this thread. Had no idea they got busted? She said it's the same problems as in the past with the cops. They came in and told her if she doesn't close the place down they will charge her. If she closes the spa they will leave her alone and let her be. There was no bust, there were no people in the spa, there was no sting. Police simply came in and talked to her and said it's time to close this place down these are your options! Judy said she's in the process of hiring a lawyer and will try to fight it. Don't think it will do her any good anyways.Just read about Sakura in Courtice being raided on Tuesday. Hope none of our Terb members were there at the time.
Well said... I agree completely.Legalize prostitution, open more casinos, allow drinking 24 hours a day, lower drinking age to 18 in Ontario (the same age you can be to go to war) and then examine some legalization of drugs. The key is to make sure the taxes are paid and no one is forced to do what they do not want to do. I would not allow foreigners to come for these jobs unless there is an actual shortage of Canadians in this sector, but I believe that is how immigration works now, let people in with the skills that are needed and then have them do jobs that they are overqualified to do.
Not exactly - only stops speeding on highways unless the stop speed is 40km. Someone doing 60 in a 40 is much more dangerous than 140 in a 100kmA couple of weeks ago, the Star had an article in their Wheels section that brought up a point about speeding. Instead of monitoring the highways for speeders, stop selling cars that are capable of going 180+ km/h. If the car can not go fast, the person can not speed, therefore speeding problem solved without having to engage in active enforcement.
Who did you see Judy or Helen? Lots of mileage with Judy for sure. Helen yes but very pricey.Damn close call for sure since I was there on Monday! Had pretty good service to boot!
