Yep, Ruth Ellen Brousseau, aka Vegas Girl (or simply Vegas to some), managed to beat the odds and kept her seat, even in the middle of Canada's national brain fart, when many thought her career would be over.

I'm not kidding either, she's charming, tough, capable, intelligent, has connections in both Quebec and Ontario, everybody likes her, except our new corrupt asshole of a Prime Mininster, may maggots chew on his rotting balls for a thousand years, who seems to hate her, another sign of her great character.

She obviously earned her seat this time. Despite many of her peers losing this go around. I remember reading an article on her whereby it stated she was taking her role seriously even going so far as to brush up on her french language skills. Good for her.
