just finish reading the collingwood news...seen a hearing for adult entertainment establishments for the town of Blue?...has any1 heard of a stripclub going into the mountain,,ie village?..or Collingwood?..we need something here as the closest club is in Barrie or Owen Sound,,,hopefully not another Georgian Grill,,lol

It's been closed for quite some time, and the place has been for sale off and on for years.

nothing in Wasaga either though years ago they had 1 briefly,,,cmon people we need a ripper bar!!!

They had Orca's and then the Allistonia (I forget the name of the one where Uncle Ming's Chinese food is now), both bars were run by bikers.

I doubt that kind of bar will be accepted in Collingwood/Blue or anywhere for that matter...it just seems no one wants to allow new one's to open.

Blue Mountain is run as a family resort so ur probably rite but the area around is inhabited by Torontonians, much more liberal in their views,,Collingwood no,,the council is old school, basically the normal bars suck!! I can and hope 2 see 1 in Wasaga,,me thinks it would go over well..

There won't be any kind of adult entertainment from Owen Sound to Collingwood any time in the near future. There was a couple of stripper bars in Collingwood about 10 to 20 years ago, long gone won't return. OPP now does the policing in the whole area and they have no sense of humour. Wasaga Beach is now a suburbanized bedroom community, not the crazy beach it once was, also OPP policed. Barrie's it but it's got it's limits as we all know.

well I agree I dont forsee Collingwood getting a club anytime soon. They basically bought out the Georgian Grill thus eliminating the stripclub scene from the town. OPP is prevalent every where. The biker scene is a non issue, but rumours have persisted that Wasaga may or may not get a casino at some point. The development along beach area 1 consists of a New Orleans style bourbon street theme. If a casino comes along I dont think u can forget about a strip bar ala Niagara Falls w Seductions and Sundowner?
