It's upon us again. A sure sign of spring. Come to think of it, Cupids contest ran last year toward the end of roll up the rim. Time to get my rabbit's foot out. Do you buy more coffee because of this contest?

You do realize this contest is in sync with lent right? it's a marketing genius - offer coffee drinkers something they can't possibly pass up!

I call it "Roll up the rim to lose!!!!" I do not buy more coffee because of the contest but I am sure their coffee sales soar during this promo. I heard somewhere that approx.1/3 of last years contest went unclaimed. Probably can't give the cardboard donuts away.

La la land
I won a free coffee the other day and haven't claimed yet.
I only drink hot apple cider.

Will they subtitute the coffee for Apple cider?
I will find out.

Had a spanish girl roll the R for me while serving coffee, it was hot. When I told her to do it again, and she did it, I almost exploded.

I didn't know they had apple cider. If it is the same price they'd substitute, but otherwise I don't think so.

My first cup was a winner. I wonder if I can claim the "free coffee" in the 400 ounce event thermos.

Yes they will.

I drink 2 coffees a day, 1 at home when I wake up and 1 from Timmys (or the nearest coffee shop to where I am) at around 11:00am. The contest does not make me drinl more coffee nor does it entice me to go to Tim Hortons.

That being said. Yesterday I bought a coffee and won a free one, today I traded in my free coffee and won another tomorrow I'll try for 3 in a row.

There's a Tim Horton's franchise in your house?? Now that's living large!

LOL!
You must have missed the rest of my post.
I have a Keurig single cup brewer at home, I find most of the available blends much better than Tims coffee.

My understanding is whatever they sell that comes in a roll up cup can be claimed as a prize when you win a "coffee".

Starting tomorrow Mcdonald's is doing the free coffee thing again. I think it is just for a week but you are guaranteed winning a free cup. Odds are a helluva lot better than Timmies and in my opinion is better coffee than Timmies. By the way, anyone here win anything yet with the roll up and win bull#$%.............

If anyone hasn't tried Macs new coffee give it a try. I hated the old stuff but this premium isn't bad.

And as stated above free is free.

Lotsa free coffee won so far. Tried for the Apple Cider mentioned above but they aren't offering it anymore.

I always buy the Xlarge cup so when I win, I win another Xlarge the same size. If I were a bitter person it would piss me off that some people buy the small and then redeem for Xlarge.

Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket

I bought a medium coffee a few days ago and the cashier gave me a $2.00 Tims card. I used that card today to buy another medium coffee and won another free coffee.
