Makes you wonder how many other cops out there drive drunk and are covered up by corrupt cops

Face 1st between her thighs
Any cop that drives under the influence should be fired from her / her job no questions asked. These assholes should and are supposed to know better....

You would be surprised how many I know that do/have. A buddy of mine regularly served XX Divsion's Christmas Party. Not only did they all drink and drive, they 'allowed' the place to serve until 4am.

I would say one good ex cop. How long do you think he'll be on the force. He'll be harassed for the rest of his career and force to quit
Well a number of the rookies harassers including a supervising officer each lost 20 days pay for an incident where a cop tried to give the rook a ticket for no reason.....supervising officer was punisehd for not stepping in.

Also, people have to remember that this cop was responding to a 911 call that someone with a specified licences plate was driving erratically (spelling?!!!?). If he tried to cover it up it could have been his ass on the line. I mean I guess he could have just said yes I went to the guys house and he seemed sober rather than taking him to a station for breathe analysis.

If anything this guy is well protected because thanks to this publicity if anything happens to him that even looks like harrassment the police dept will want to protect their image.

I have to say this rook has balls for what he did. I'm not sure what I would have done. It wouldn't have been an easy choice.

The rooks partner looks like an ass for refusing to help even with the paperwork.

Cops need to take things into their own hands at times IE beat up a Hells Angel then they all keep their mouths shut

They would never give a ticket to a fireman or a TTC worker or a EMS worker because they work close together

Thats just the way it is

No one should be above the law. Just because cops enforce the law, it does not mean that they can change it to suit their needs. If a cop breaks the law, then they should pay the price like everyone else.

I know plenty of meatheads before they became cops or entered the military. No doubt they're still meatheads. A meathead in uniform is just a meathead wearing an outfit that gets simple minded female's wet.

A guy on talk radio raised an interesting point. Cops complain about communities that don't help them solve crimes because nobody wants to 'snitch', yet the same culture exist on the police force.

They should be held to a higher standard since they enforce the law everyday. To think they want to put a drinking lounge in every division. Thet are out of control, maybe we need to get this rookie to join the unit that investigates the police.

. . . No, not like everyone else. More. They are in a position of trust with respect to the public - no less so than a schoolteacher with respect to the students.

This guy's my hero. Hopefully he gets enough support from the public to counteract the hell he's probably going through on the job. Hopefully he also gets his actions validated by the courts sentencing the impaired cop.

Glad to see a couple of the officers get deducted pay for improper conduct as opposed to being suspended with pay (aka, vacation time). Would have liked to see the impaired officer suspended from the job pending the trial, but they probably couldn't pull that off without paying him for the time off (which has got to be the dumbest system I've ever seen).

This seems an urban issue, in many more rural areas failing to arrest an off duty Constable if they are over the legal limit is much more likely to get you into deep trouble than arresting them.

i wonder how many of you guys that are on here bashing the cops, pick up the phone and call them every time you can about a neighbor, speeding car, person in the yard or any other number of things. of course you won't admit it here that's cool, i get it but it would be funny to know the reality of it.
