Although Ashley Dupree, may disagree with me, and what I'm saying is highly nuanced and it also depends upon her family background. There are some Russian women who seem caught between - 'he's very good to me treats me with respect isn't drunk', and 'he doesn't take charge and act like a "real man"'. They keep pushing and pushing if the guy lashes out we have Ronnie Wood, if he keeps his temper we have either abandonment or divorce court.
As I say this is only a certain segment of the population but it is there.
Whether this was true in this case I don't know. But I have my suspicions. . .
