Rogers cellphones?

My current contract with Rogers just expired and I'd like to get a new phone. If anyone has purchased a new phone in the last few months from Rogers, I'd like to know if you're happy with it. A decent camera would be nice, but is not critical, and I don't really care about MP3s with the phone. I'm mainly interested in good reception and good sound. Thanks

I got a NOKIA 6133 about 6 months ago. I am happy with it , good sound , 1.3 meg camera ( I rarely use it but worth carrying ) and it seems very durable . Lots of attachments available on Ebay for cheap. My primary use is for limited calls and emergencies so it serves me well.

Best deals to be had is around around December when the Christmas promotions comes out during that month from the big wireless phone companies.

That goes for air time and type of phone they will offer.

I buy unlocked phones from Tigerdirect.ca/tigerdirect.com

Unlocked phones are better because they are not overpriced and not tied to any one carrier. This means that when you travel, you just need to get another sim card, activate a plan tied to that other sim card, and voila, you now have a phone that is "local" to the country you're visiting.
