Yeah I can get it unlocked but only Rogers and Telus have GSM and Rogers purposely provides piss poor service to Fido after they bought them out to get rid of Fidos plan that was unlimited use. Talk about a monopoly anti competition. Maybe those useless beauracrats could crawl out of the real estate industry ass for a minute and have a look at this jerked off situation.

Rogers and Fido are GSM. An unlocked GSM phone (North American frequency phones) will work on either network. Not sure if Fido has data plans for Blackberries.

Bell and Telus are CDMA, but will only allow you to use their own phones, not each other's....even though "technology" is same. Their logic is they use their own software/firmware.

GSM phones have SIM cards.
