He was a complex man. There is no doubt that he was transformative in his influence on television news in the U.S. Further he played an important role in the rise of any number of news figures including those now at many other networks.
Yet at the same time he was a man with a bullying personality, who was a serial harasser of women.

Actually, I AM better than Ailes. When I pay for sex, the girl doesn't spend the night crying afterwards. And she doesn't do anything she didn't want to do. Nor is she humiliated and disempowered.

How do you know for sure Ailes is (or was) guilty of sexual harrassment??
Because he paid the women off?? Settling lawsuits like that usual comes with no admission of guilt, so technically under the law Ailes should be presumed innocent until proven guilty (which of course now becomes impossible)
Monica Lewinsky recently spoke out. She said Ailes built up Fox News at her expense. She was being trashed on a daily basis by the news channel. That's the problem with these news channels, they're repetitive to the point of numbness. I'll watch CNN for Anthony Bourdain and occasionally Erin Burnett - he's a funny prick, she's hot.
