This one ranks right up there.

Introduced a lot of whites to the blues when this album was first released in late 1965.

Butter on vocals

Mike Bloomfield on slide...

Then John Mayall's Bluesbreaker's "Beano" album, with Eric Clapton, sealed the deal in 1966.

The surviving members of Led Zeppelin picked Tony Thompson to perform with them at Live Aid. Then Phil Collins barged in and fucked everything, he was unprepared.

Page and Plant wrote The Immigrant Song while touring in Iceland. I have nothing but the deepest respect for Rick Beato but he got this one wrong.

IV...i will be as blunt and polite as i can....i despise Led Zeppelin....it was a rip off band plain and simple....stealing music from mostly Blues artists and calling them their own....POS in my opinion....there i got it off my chest

I hear ya, most of the first album and the first three songs of II were Willie Dixon covers. Once Peter Grant died, they did live up to their obligations but Willie Dixon didn't live long enough to enjoy his money.

If you can find it Johnny Winters first album was a collaboration with Willie Dixon, it's close to being one of the best blues rock albums you'll hear.

Willie Dixon is as influential a song writer as Bob Dylan. Is that Steven Stills in his band?
