Have the drums, guitar and mike...working away at level 'medium'.

How does one unlock new songs?

Are they already on the DVD to be unlocked at a certain level???...........or is there somewhere on the net I can 'locate' new songs?

I think the long way is to do the tour in medium or higher until it plays through all the songs. Shorter way is to play the challenges which unlocks songs.

Quickest way is to do the unlock in the menu in RB2 (modify game) or at startup in RB1, it is a series of clicks on the controller. However you won't be able to save scores if you use this method.

On the PS3 you can use the PSN network, on XB360 the marketplace to buy songs not contained on the disc.

Try going to www.gamespot.com and look for Rockband and search for "cheats".
