Perhaps you already know, but an all in one ETF like VBAL is another way of having the rebalancing done for you.
MER is .25%.

I am a DIY investor not afraid to look at investments monthly.
I keep an ear to the ground -scan read business newspapers just about every day.
Trade and rebalance mostly 2-3 times a year.
But I will trim profits or buy things on 'sale' in between major reviews.

But i have met folks who do not have an interst in this sort of approach or anythink like it.
They just want to save and stick their heads in the sand.
Those sorts are who a robo advisor could benefit.
