To many, he's known for flicks like Short cuts, The Player, Gosford Park, MASH, but to me it's POPEYE ....really shocked the crap out of me back then... like WHOA.
If I am not mistaken, Altman was also the first US director to shoot a feature film , The Company, entirely on HDCAM. RIP Rob.
You know what I also like...in the picture the OP posted he has his hand on Lindsays leg. It more than likely was a casual pat as he was in a wheel chair..but some people still see that and think lecherous old man!
Would be nice to be remembered that way!
