A road-rage incident in west-central Toronto Wednesday night has resulted in a charge of attempted murder against a 23-year-old Toronto man. Police said the man was driving a black Honda in the College Street/Ossington Avenue area at around 7 p.m. when he became embroiled in an argument with another driver.
When the second man got out of his car, the accused drove his Honda toward him and pinned him against his own car, police said, and the victim sustained serious leg injuries.
With police in pursuit, the driver of the Honda allegedly drove to the Bathurst subway station, abandoned his car and fled.
He surrendered to police at 14 Division Thursday morning and had a court appearance scheduled for later in the day.
William Davidson is charged with attempted murder, threatening death, failing to stop for police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Detectives are anxious to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation.
