Risk assessment of the hobby

I have had a twenty year run in the scene, lots of fun, over 200 women and likely close to 800 sessions. With the proliferation of high mileage everywhere you go, I have for the first time started to question the sanity of my behaviour. I go to see a woman who is servicing say 20-40 guys a week depending on number of shifts and her popularity. If mileage is everywhere which we all know it is, then that means that I am being exposed to the body fluids of 20-40 guys per week per session. Assuming the average SW works 40 weeks a year, that is 800 - 1600 possible exposures of bacteria/disease from sexual activity that I am exposing myself to for each woman I see. I do not have a science or medical background, but how are we not all on antibiotics for STDs? Is this something that risk is perhaps vastly overstated by the medical community? Personally speaking, I'm at the point where I think I have to go to receiving covered bj only and no daty on her due to the HPV issues that I don't understand. I believe there are risks with DFK as well due to a SW's mouth being an integral part of her services. I'm not judging any of the ladies in the industry or any of us end users as to what and why we do this....just wondering what other readers might have to add to help me better understand the risks.

You are not exposed to the bodily fluids or bacteria of 20-40 guys per week because most SPs bath themselves, wipe, and gargle or rinse with mouthwash, as well as practice safe sex.

The HPV concern is a separate one.

Why do clients always assume SP have 20-40 clients a month.
Was there a conference I didnt know about where you all got those numbers.
My experience is more with the mp scene so 20 - 40 week is for a fairly busy mpa for 3 - 5 shifts per week. The numbers are not the critical part of the discussion - discount it by 50% if you want to 10 - 20 per week. Not sure what the typical escort is doing.

You stated and I know you don't mean to cast aspersions but I can't help but think your perspective is selective in that your risk source is the SP but it's not rocket science that if you visit one SP that you've already visited another SP. The SP has a risk seeing you of 1600 possible infections and that if the danger wasn't with the clients, the SP wouldn't be affected in the first place. It's a community pool and we share the same obligations to keep it clean. If you are willing to forgo any kissing - I'm sure they have one less concern also.

well, you're right to be worried. I don't offer bbbj for any amount of money. I have a boyfriend at home and I thoroughly enjoy having sex with him. I wouldn't ever want to infect him with some disease that is totally preventable. HPV is a big one and other std's can be carried in the mouth. I think everyone sees different amounts of people but it's pretty safe to assume we see a lot more guys than the average woman. I only work on the weekends so I see about 10 people on a weekend. I would see a lot more if I offered bbbj and I'd be rich if I offered bbbfs, but to me, it's just not worth it. I'd rather have a safe and happy sex life than feel guilty about exposing my clients and my partners to diseases. That's just my personal opinions anyway. I don't want to get sick or end up with herpes or chlamydia. It only takes one person to infect an escort and then they could potentially infect dozens of people a day. Things like HPV can clear up on their own and there are 100 strains of it. Only 3 or 4 of them cause cancer.

I think you have the diagnosis right.
I would be willing to take an occasional risk on my own account, but I prefer not to risk taking something home.
I dearly love the notion of a BBBJ but I'll never have one with a professional.
I love DATY (which I understand is whole magnitudes safer), but apart from one or two occasions when I simply lost it and indulged I've never done that with a pro either.
My achillies heal on the STD side is DFK. I haven't done a close analysis but clearly it cannot be 100% safe. I need to look at discontinuing it. But I adore it. To me it creates a link to the woman that stirs something inside me (and in turn I stir something inside her... but never, ever uncovered.)

LOL - Bathing doesn't wash away STDs. One can't wipe away STDs with wipes. Nor can one gargle and rinse away STDs. Safe sex helps, but the OP was referring to the proliferation of non-safe practices like uncovered fellatio and cunnilingus.

From an SP'a point of view, I consider we're safer as we get tested 10x more frequently than civilians as our health is our livelyhood. No, we can't constantly be on antibiotics for a number of reasons some including that they lose effectiveness if taken too often, they stop the birth control pill from working and also can unbalance our lady parts. Get tested frequently and air on the side on caution with condoms and other protection, if you're so nervous you don't want to kiss might be the wrong "hobby"

Totally agreed 1000%. Well reviewed SP's who have longevity in this industry are extremely safe, hygienic and take care of themselves much more than a civie would. I have no issues engaging in DATY, BBBJ, DFK, etc. because of this.

Roxyfan for a person who has been doing more of the MP scene for 20 years you well know the majority of MPs do not engage in sexual activities onsite and provide either things like body slide, tit job or hand job. That said YMMV applies in some situations where they may go further but even then I would say MP too are safe. As I have seen them shower in our room and then start cleaning the shower etc. After a session. - but ultimately it is up to you to do what you are comfortable doing.

I don't do DFK or LFK. I don't do DATY. BBBJ is important to me but not a deal breaker. If I did partake in any of these I would be perfectly fine.

You cant really think about risk in the way you do and still participate in this and still stay sane. You'll drive yourself crazy.

True that. But as I said, nervous not about my own exposure but about what I might inadvertently bring home. Maybe the wrong hobby. Thinking of getting a boat... A big boat... (about the same dime.)

I think there's an element of risk to this hobby that can never be entirely reduced to zero. Clients and sp's can take every reasonable precaution but at some point if you are just uncomfortable with the risk then probably best to stop hobbying...even if you don't get sick you'll be in for a lifetime of constant worrying and anxiety about it.

Some people just aren't wired to do this hobby...I don't mean that as a criticism; in fact, it's probably a blessing.

Hey....the mp scene is totally changed....gals are doing everything in the room....I am evaluating my risks right now as to my comfort levels.

Perhaps if STDs are of particular stress for you as a client you could:

A) Not partake in any fluid transfer activities: no DFK, no DATY, no BBBJ, no BBFS no BBPS etc.
B) Get tested several times a year or more frequently as you see fit
C)See ladies LESS frequently
D)See ladies who have fewer clients over a certain period of time or whatever

It's all up to you. I do worry about the fact that the majority of clients don't seem to get tested very frequently, and i'm happy that many SPs and MPs are concerned for their sexual health and get tested more often. STDs and exposure are a big reason why I am only comfortable seeing a few clients a week and get tested regularly, because no amount of money is worth jeopardizing my health for the long term.

Hi Charlotte....as for part A of your response...I would never do bbfs but enjoy all other four on the list. If I had to give all of those up, then I might as well just jerk off for free and put the hobby money In my rrsp. it is good to know that you worry about your personal health....sadly...the mpa in most place I have gone so not have any such regard.

Everyone of us here is kidding selves if you think you don't already have a strain of HPV. It is very common to be at least a carrier if you are sexually active, even if warts don't appear for you. Highly likely we all have it and if you don't then it is just a time and luck factor.

I`m surprised nobody has mentioned tit sucking as a risky activity.

Female breast milk contains communicable virus`, same as vaginal fluids. If you have a cut or sore in your mouth, theoretical transmission of STD is possible. Too many dudes finishing Russian style unfortunately. I`ve seen some MPA`s just use wipes to clean up after a Putin style finish. :(
