Hey, lets stay on topic here. Yes the leafs suck. Yes they will break your heart when the engagement turns to the wedding. Yes they overcharge for ticket prices. The real thing that matters is SHARKS!
I can't tell you how excited I am to watch fish that have brains no bigger than a lemon swim around in a tank. Much more entertaining than the leafs.

Lol... Yeah.... The success of the endeavour will depend on how well rendered( design/build, etc.) the project is upon completion. I haven't heard much about this new Toronto Aquarium( design, scope, focus, etc.).... I wonder if this will be Toronto attempting to be a 'World Class' city with 'World Class' attractions because it's a World Class city, etc.,....... Sincerely, Jon .
highly doubt it. they will be a class trip destination for all schools that are within 2 hrs. if they don't rape families on ticket prices then people could bring thier family every few months as the fish and habitats change.. I think they will do well.
Have a good look at the ROM addition sometime... What did that cost...? 200 million? 220 million...? And for what...? A profoundly ugly eyesore...? As far as this new Toronto Aquarium is concerned specifically, one could note that Toronto has such a strong marine and nautical heritage......... Sincerely, Jon .
I was hoping they would have the sunfish. Too bad I guess.It's a little underwhelming if you have been to other larger aquariums... the largest fish they had was the sawfish, I believe... while other aquariums have cool residents such as the orcas, beluga whales, whale sharks, etc. What was overwhelming however was the crazy lineup outside on the weekend and the sheer number of people packed into the aquarium with their tiny tots... There are yearly passes for kids/families I assume, but not much to impress a grown-up with.
