Strong leader and visionary in the media industry.
Made a great investment in purchasing the Atlanta Braves in 1976 for $12 million. Then he bought the Atlanta Hawks one year later. Built a profitable TV network around that. Eventually sold the rights to Time Warner and likely made hundreds of millions off the deal. Wise move.
As wise a business decision maker that he was, he wasn't as wise in his life choices. Three times married including to a c*** named Jane Fonda. Makes sense though since he was a pretty hardcore Liberal Democrat. I guess he had to be though since his business relied on government regulators a ton.
