She won 2 Academy Awards, 4 Emmys among others. She's regarded as Britain's greatest actress of all time.

Maggie Smith was primarily a stage actress, but she had some prominent film roles. She won her first of two Academy Awards for the 1969 film The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie .
