Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Priscilla and Elvis Presley, died today at age 54. She experienced a sudden cardiac event yesterday. Was resuscitated, received a temporary pacemaker to keep her heart rhythm regular, and was put into an induced coma. However, according to my New York Times feed, she died a short while ago today.

She and the football player both suffered cardiac arrests but with vastly different results.
