The 2.0 RIM Playbook update is finally available. The upgrades seem geared to the business crowd primarily.

I did the upgrade, very easy and did so without problems.

Added my emails and its so cool to have the video chat on my contacts with Playbooks.

Nice upgrade and its free.

So far it seems solid.. but I will have to use it for a bit....still cannot play mpgs on the browser.... WTF???!?!?!? I prefer the size of the PB vs iP... it is really great to travel with. Apps choices still seem sucky... hopefully it increases...

Was able to load some decent apps on one.. Pulse, Google Maps and Translate, Winamp, Tapatalk, StumbleUpon. Basically it's where it should have been at release or a few months after now.

It's a free Android app I downloaded the playbook compatible bar file for.. And it has playlists.

take a look at free games
not that I care but they are relaeasing 2 games, modern combat and andrenaline racing
large files, around 400 meg but appear to be full blown versions
easy way to kill time while ona flight or at the airport

I like being able to organize apps into folders and pages (like on iOS, but the folders and the pages are each larger).

rub. it's hard to understand your point. the same was said abut the ipod/iphone os progression. from "shows potential" to "very useful". remember the version where copy/paste between apps was added? what's funny about the playbook is they turned back the clock for the original release. BB is very poorly run. My head would have exploded if i heard a developer say "email? ummm. can't they use the browser?". the playbook is still very competitive at the $150, $200, $250 price progression. at $500, nobody in their right mind would buy it. I'm not sure if BB mgmt understands this. i doubt it.

Yet the anti-Appleites are drooling over this release!
Being pleased with this release doesn't make you anti-apple.
I don't think I've read any playbook user on this forum say anything resembling a "take that apple".
However, apple users bragging about their products and putting down the competition is a frequent occurrence. There's some clearly anti-apple people here too, but I don't think any of them are blackberry fans.

From what I understand the Playbook will play Flash video. I've had many occasions where I've sworn at my SO's iPad for not being able to play Flash. That just seems so SonyBeta. I'm not running out to buy either one although I'd probably be happy if someone wanted to give me either one.
