If Ricky wins to-day (he is currently ahead 5-0), he will be only 1 win behind the Doc. Who would have thought?

Ricky is now 10 and 4.
He pitched well today, his fastball looked good though his curve wasnt up to par I thought. I would have said he looked dominant had he had both pitches going for him.

Just as important, Roenicke and Accardo get the job done in the late innings.

Scott Downs went on the DL.. thank god. he has played lousy the last few weeks.

Romero looks good right now, 10-4 how can he not look good, but we will not know for sure what we have until the 2011 season. He is having one hell of a rookie season so far in 2009 and next season, 2010, will tell us a lot about whether he will be someone the Jays can count on.

All I can remember when the Jays drafted Ricky Ro was that he was not Troy Tulowitzki.

For all the criticism JP got from drafting Romero over Tulo, Romero has turned out to be a pretty nice pick. He was unimpressive the first couple of years in the minors, but he has been amazing this year with the big club.
