They usually advertise in one of the Durham region newspapers. Saw the ad and decided to check it out. Located in a strip plaze, same plaze as the Licks hamburger place. Nicely set up lobby area with a reception desk and magazines.
I was greeted by a lovely woman named Tina the minute I walked in. Tina is slim, attractive and very friendly. I believe she's Italian but not 100% sure. She's about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with dirty blonde hair and a slim waistline. I found her to be attractive and in excellent shape. She made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. This was my first time at this spa and since I only had $40 I was only able to stay for 30 minutes. Tina said that was fine and to just make myself comfortable.
The massage was good and the conversation was even better. She's also a very smart woman. She knows she's in the service industry and understands her business well. She made me feel relaxed and totally at ease as we finished off our time. My only regret is that I wish I would have spent more time with her. The 30 minutes was not enough for me.
I would definitely repeat with Tina. Not sure as to her age. Standard DF is $40 for 30 minutes. As I plan on seeing her again I was able to ger her schedule. She works Sundays and Mondays until 1am. She's off on Tuesdays. Wednesday until 8pm. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm. For a Durham region spa I was pleasantly surprised with Tina.
Pros: Excellent no rush service and friendly atmosphere. The spa rooms are nicely kept with a shower in each room and ample towels.
Cons: Busy entrance as it is in a strip plaze. I believe there is a back door. Did not get to see what the other MPAs looked like. Also, I believe there was no soothing or relaxing music in the rooms. I know, I'm being picky but sometimes it helps.
