The Ontario government has endorsed John Tory's proposals to revamp Ontario Place into an all-season destination with places to live, work, shop, eat and play.
The revamp is expected to include condos and businesses. Although Tory reportedly called for the Cinesphere to be saved, Tourism Minister Michael Chan says it's "too early to tell" whether that will happen.

I think there is the potential to get the revamp right, but it is tricky, both in terms of the politics and the arrangements that would have to be negotiated.
