Looking for help/advice.
Dropped my phone in water and now it's toast
Is there a way to recover phone #s from the memory?
Or is it gone forever?
Thanks!

Try drying the phone out by placing it in a bag of rice. That draws the water out and you can hopefully start up the phone at that point to get your contacts off.

If they can't recover your data they won't charge you

Did you sync the device to an Apple, Google, Samsung, etc. account?
Go check your call or text history on your wireless provider's website.

Get isopropyl alcohol, at least 90% pure preferably 99. Take out battery and soak the whole phone in the isopropyl alcohol for a few hours. Then leave it in a bag of rice overnight. If that doesn't work the numbers might be on the sim card if your lucky.

Sounds like it’ll be quite pricey just to find 2 numbers.
Why don’t you just ask here for who your looking for.
Somebody probably knows them.

If its a postpaid account your call history should go back 12 (or more depending on provider) months

If prepaid like 711 not much chance

OP said they were former SP’s , so he probably has their real personal #’s.

As long as you keep your own original #, eventually, they’ll contact you.

Unless they don’t care.

Certain #’s I want to keep private but available , I leave them in random secret files on multiple devices.
