This move by the Dems is what you do when you are anticipating that you are about to be out of power for quite some time. It's like when the Bob Rae NDPs went on a public appointment spree of all their cronies as they were about to be ousted.

It was appalling to see senators from Florida and Texas opposing aid to New Jersey/NY after that hurricane a few years back. And how Jared said they're not our supporters so who cares. Hopefully all senators get behind the aid to Kentucky despite McConnell and Rand Paul (the latter routinely opposes disaster aid).
