Wow, the Dems kick their ass and the Repugs take it out on Veterans. These mid terms are going to be awesome.
This really looks bad on Mitch.
Veterans are pissed and the GOP outplayed.
Shameful. And these same GOP senators will be the first to say they support the men/women in the service.Wow, the Dems kick their ass and the Repugs take it out on Veterans. These mid terms are going to be awesome.
Is it tit for tat time now? Will Dem POTUS Biden see that the Feds drag their feet on sending disaster relief to Mitch's home (RED) state of Kentucky from the flooding they are having? Maybe he will throw paper towels like the Donald did. Is the current head of FEMA a total political hack like after Hurricane Katrina? Lets wait and see...Shameful. And these same GOP senators will be the first to say they support the men/women in the service.
Now the dems will make the GOP senate vote against banning assault weapons.Shameful. And these same GOP senators will be the first to say they support the men/women in the service.
I just saw it as the GOP getting back some of their own medicine. This move by the Dems is what you do when you are anticipating that you are about to be out of power for quite some time. It's like when the Bob Rae NDPs went on a public appointment spree of all their cronies as they were about to be ousted.
The public will see it for what it is, a last dive into the pork barrel. This will only add to the mid term momentum that the GOP already has.
Hard to think in terms of "medicine", clearly more of a poison. It's what's in the kool aid...I just saw it as the GOP getting back some of their own medicine.
Rand is sure to make an exception, following the time honored "Do as I say, not as I do" doctrine all Repugs seem to follow...Hopefully all senators get behind the aid to Kentucky despite McConnell and Rand Paul (the latter routinely opposes disaster aid).
