Replacement parts for Aqua Genie Pool Skimmer

To the pool owners on this board,

I have a 30 year old pool; I didn't build it, the pool came with the house.

The pool still has the original skimmer; an Aqua Genie.

Aqua Genie – Hydra Pools

Is there any pool store in the GTA that carries parts for these skimmers? My local Pioneer doesn't have the parts; my pool contractor says my pool is probably the second with an Aqua Genie skimmer he has seen in 12 years in the business.

I need a new skimmer basket; and a vacuum adaptor. If I order the parts directly from the manufacturer in the US, they want close to $100 in shipping!!
