I'm sure this has been asked before by others, so bear with me please.
I have a Blackberry Pearl 8100 on a Rogers service plan. I'm going to the UK for a few weeks and I'm wondering if I can use the phone there on a local plan.
I used to have a Motorola that I had "unlocked" at Pacific Mall. Do I have to go through this nuisance again, or will the Blackberry work on a local UK service provider chip?
Any suggestions as to who in UK offers service by the week or the month?
