Vacationing in RD is more difficult due to the fact that visible outlets have been closed down.

A lot of the girls working on the street are actually Haitian with rumoured health risks.
I have reported attacks on novice vacationers.

My personal preference is a adult vacation supplier.

Affordable-Adult-Vacations has gone upscale and is offering vacation at regular resort hotels.
In addition, they offer the ability to choose your companions in advance with some sort of a guaranty that one of your escort choices will be available to you upon arrival.

DS

I would have preferred to append this post to an existing thread however one did not seem to be available.
If you have any questions, please PM me. I have infromation that I am unable to post.
Doing so gets me into dutch with the greeks. LCol H Blake M*A*S*H

Source for SP is drying up

I noticed this entry in the DR1.com Forum News summary section.

This is why you need to plan your vacation in advance.
You cannot wait and pick something up when you get there.

In addition, Affordable reports endless calls from guys who have travelled to Punta Cana and expected to find girls and if they do find them expect to get them into their all'inclusive hotel.
Punta Cana did not exist before the hotels were constructed. Dominican may work there but Dominicans do not live there.

Four foreign sex promoters told to leave

Two Germans, one US citizen and one Italian resident in the DR have been deported at the request of Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito as part of his campaign to reduce promotion abroad of the Dominican Republic as a sex tourism destination. Migration revoked their residency permits after the foreigners were accused of promoting prostitution in the establishments they own in the municipality of Sosua, Puerto Plata. The foreigners were deported to their home countries for alleged involvement in sexual exploitation as well as promoting sex tourism. They are Germans Erwin Seitel (Caribbean Men's Paradise) and Peter Jensen (Passions Bar), US citizen Robert Anechiarico (Rumba Bar) and Italian Armando Casciati (Club Merengue and others).

Not a Do It Yourself Project

Of course not travelling is one option.

What I am saying is that if you want to have a great vacation you should not expect to do it yourself.
Otherwise you may spend all your vacation getting everything together and keeping it that way.

It is the old story, there never enough money to do it right the first time, but there is always enough money to do it over.

Good vacation vendors exist because they keep a very low profile.
In order to shut them down RD would have to shut down every hotel in the country. RD is not about to do that.
It does not matter that the business exists as long as it appears to be eradicated.

In another thread there was a terbite asking about Las Vegas getting terse and negative replies and rightrly so ¡Misma Cosa!

You cannot make any assumptions about a RD vacation.
If any one wants information just PM me and I will do what you can.
I am not advertising for anyone.

You are so full of shit. Your posting style is so easily recognizable.

We get it, if someone wants to go to the DR for chica's they should PM you and you will refer them to (you) your trusted guy in the DR.

Why don't you just pay to advertise like all the other sextreprenuers here?

Her place
Whatever man, I totally believe him.

I also believe that Bills will win the Super Bowl this year, that saying voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir constitutes speaking French and the french speaking SPs are super impressed by my bilingualism, that the guys who claim 4 SOGs in an hour aren't completely delusional/lying and that every backpage picture is legitimate.

So there

I read Dominican news almost daily. I also read DR1.com.
In addition I have contacts in RD to whom I speak regularly.
I also have specific information about a few good vacation providers.

BTW I am back in the game. My novia (never SP) is now in Europe and doing very well.

Just to be clear, vacation providers do not like hobbists, their attitudes are a severe pain.

If you want to take a chance on a vacation, do it your way.
I am only trying to save wasted vacations.

More clearly All-Inclusive resorts are not the same as hotels in Canada.
To book someone into the hotel you need the girls real name and birth date. (No underaged Sex!)

How many years have you actually lived in th Dominican Republic?

What part of this is BS? (Just a rhetorical question)

Late yesterday I contacted some friends in RD.

It seems yet another vacation vendor has shut down.
This time it was the third party agent providing the vacation services that was shut down by PN.
Again I have more information than I am disclosing, however in this case the information irrelevant due to the PN activities.
The fact that the vacations were provided by a third party is a cause for concern.

I still suggest that anyone planning a vacation due so with understanding and care.

What part of this is BS? (Just a rhetorical question)

Haitian women arrested for prostitution in Dajabon

The Police arrested a dozen undocumented Haitian women who are suspected of engaging in prostitution in public areas in the border city of Dajabon, as reported in Listin Diario. They were arrested by Specialized Border Security Corps (Cesfront) agents and state prosecutors, headed by assistant prosecutor Danis Minaya.

The authorities said the women were soliciting clients in the city's two public parks. The women were handed over to Migration Agency authorities for deportation to Haiti.

As reported, some of the women explained that they had migrated to the DR to earn money for their relatives in Haiti, saying that they would return because they have no work in Haiti.

They have always arrested Haitians in the DR, not news.
They are going after gringo's they think are making money off prostitution.
They are going after gringo's that are advertising sexcations in the DR. Not the reputation they want.

Prostitution is legal, living off the avails is not.

Going for my 4th trip later this month, not worried about a single thing. Booked myself, staying at a low key place.
There are scams, cons and pitfalls. Research and experience will help.

I agree about the research
Not making mistakes takes experience. Experience comes from making mistakes.

Which is my point.

Vacation providers who know what they doing will survive because most folks do not want to waste their money in a learning experience.
Good vacation providers get calls almost every day from guys who have travelled without understanding how it works, notwithstanding the fact that their web sites make it extremely clear.

In the end the provider lost the buisness and the guest did not get the vacation he assumed would be his.
Two folks POed at the situation due to the lack of research.

Yes I agree Do your research!

Here is a great resource for sobering research on the DR.

http://dominicanwatchdog.org/page-Too_many_tourists_killed_in_the_Dominican_Republic

Read through the pagesand pages of violent crimes committed with impunity against tourists and ex-pats who now LIVE(d) there. Way too fucking lawless and dangerous for the low quality Dominican girls. Is like going fishing for carp off the coast of Somalia.

Here is a story of an experienced hobbyist from Montreal stabbed 30 times in a public bar by the girl who stole his wallet.

http://dominicanwatchdog.org/domini...ica n_Republic,_American_Woman_killed_in_Bar

Here is a video of a 44 year old german lawyer residing in a secure, high end apartment in Sosua...his head bashed in.

Oh and bring the strongest mosquito repellent you have...

As of October 24, there are now 450,000 cases of Chikungunya in the DR. Up from 250,000 two months earlier.

Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes

It can cause high fever, join and muscle pain, and headache. Chikungunya does not often result in death, but the joint pain may last for months or years and may become a cause of chronic pain and disability.

There is no specific treatment for chikungunya infection, nor any vaccine to prevent it.

Pending the development of a new vaccine, the only effective means of prevention is to protect individuals against mosquito bites.

SC Great information. Thank you for posting it.

Safety and a great vacation are reasons you do not want to do it yourself.
I have a lot of friends who are PN and PoliTur. Including a BGen in the PN.

If you know what you are doing and want to do it yourself, go for it. If not...

Go to Sosua and have a blast . Been going down there for the last 4 years and always have a great time. Yes things have changed down there but still a great place to have some fun. Going on my 9th trip down there shortly and maybe go again in Feb. You can go with a group of friends or travel alone doesn't matter, there are so many expats around you can always find a friendly face to share stories with or get some advice.

Lots of different hotels , condos, rooms, appartments, villas etc to stay . Many great restaurants and knowing you taste in women BBL you will think you died and went to heaven lol. If ya need any advice or recomendations about Sosua just ask away and will fill you in with what I have learned over the course of my travels.

eh, hightop, thanks for offer. I guess my first question would be in regards to safety. What is your take in regards to shlongconnery's post? I've been to Rio a few times, and as hot as the women were, it was a pain in the ass having to watch your back all the time. Things got pretty dicey once the sun sets in rio. How bad is sosua? Is it constant scams and danger lurking all around like rio?

As far as feeling safe I have never had a problem and have traveled alone and with friends .Just keep your eyes open and be aware that you are in a 3rd world country and you shouldn't have problems and have a blast. Yes things happen as they do in every country. I could search the web and ind stories about Canada too. Sosua is a small town and at night the main strip comes alive with everyone drinking and having a good time. You will encounter people trying to hustle you like everywhere else and yes some of the women are aggressive but all in all a great place to blow of steam and have some fun.

One thing is the motocoaches ( guys driving motobikes as taxis) will always try offering you anything you could want. Never seen so many guys named Tony Montana in my life LOL. Stay away from any drugs down there are the penalities are harsh and the person who sold it to you could be working with the cops and will turn you in right after and you will have to pay a fine ie extorion to get out of it. This happens in Mexico too all the time.

Many people will say never rent a car down there because of the scams. I have rented cars and scooters and traveled all over the island and never had a problem. I have read trip reports where people say don't stop at redlights just slow down and make sure it clear late at night as sometimes guys on bikes might come up beside and rob you, however I can name a few places in the states that its the same way lol.

All and all great place beautiful women and a great vacation. Anything else you wanna know just ask.

If you decide to head down in Feb let me know I should be ready for trip number 3 in 6 months by then LOL. If not then I can give you a few numbers of ppl to talk to there to make you feel more secure.

If I go, it would be for sure in Feb, so I hold off on any more questions for a bit until I'm certain if I'm going to take a trip on not.
