Renting A Cottage in PEI

Hey Travellers!

The decision has been made, that we are going to try to drive out to PEI and see the ocean, Anne of Green Gables etc. I've been instructed to rent a cottage for 4 people, but really have no idea where to start. I realize it's not a big island, but was wondering if people could recommend a nice location for renting (one week). Just checking the net, prices range from 1000-2000/week, but I would like to hear some personal experiences if anyone has any. Thanks

I never been there before but if I do go I would prefer in the summer time!
