Reliability & Validity of Reviews

How many of you rely on reviews posted by your peers before visiting a Service Provider (SP)?

How many of you conduct your own research, period?

Have you come to depend/rely on specific posters' reviews?

A number of individuals identify certain members with possibly multiple accounts as 'shillers' whether warranted or not. Others like myself have long moved from being regular posters to lurkers as a result of the bashing and finger pointing. After-all, the original intent was to share information. If you didn't trust the source, you simply ignored it. Over time, you got to know who shared your preferences and tastes and you took the rest of the reviews with a grain of salt.

The best information comes through PM from guys you trust.

I depend on reviews and take into consideration the number of reviews and who is doing the reviews.

I also defend my critiques of SPs I've seen, because other TERB members reading my input know I'm reliable. Everybody knows I come with the real shit. Not like some of the clowns who have a great experience and that somehow makes a girl whose looks are a 6 into a 10.

I take all reviews with a grain of salt.

I do prefer the bad reviews over the sugar coated, luvvy dubby reviews. I swear, sometimes I want to smack these men who sound like such wussies that and the SP Pets.

When it comes to indies, most of time I did rely on reviews.

When it comes to SPs from agencies, it depends on my mood. When I had a long day and was kind of tired, I would go to a well reviewed lady in her mid 20s or older, who is reliable, had lots of experience and proper attitude. If I was full of energy, I would choose a young talent, maybe new in this industry, who may have not been reviewed. BTW, I usually book SP from major agencies.
