What has anyone's experience been with DIY refills of Laser Toner Cartridges? I can refill the toner for a fraction of the cost, but has the quality changed from the days when you were likely to get a 'streak' effect on pages printed after refilling?

Does anyone have personal experience to share (not theory), good or bad?

I've used these guys before. Great price and decent shipping. No problems at all. The problem with new printers is they come with 1/3 of the cartridge filled to capacity or something like that. And they make the money on the toner/cartridges. Basically a disposable printer unless you buy a fairly nice one :D then that's different

FTR, I went ahead and bought the toner refill, and after reviewing the available videos online and studying the instruction sheet, I performed the refill myself. So far, pages printed with the re-filled laser toner cartridge appear just as good as the original OEM parts. I'll try to remember to update this if the situation changes.
