Password: I gave them my email address and also my email password. The question wasn't clear at all which password they wanted.
PIN: Yes, I created a 4 digit PIN and that is what I use to access the newly installed Windows 10.
Long story short. New Windows 10 is now installed and old Windows 10 is gone.
