recommendations for a trip to MTL

I'm planning a trip in Montreal. I can't find satisfactory info. from the MTL terb site (question of too much info. and not necessarily reliable) From the perspective of ottawa subscribers who may visit Montreal from time to time, who would you be prepared to recommend. I like the GFE, very strong preference for bbbj.
