Recomendation on Guangzhou, China

I'll be visiting the city of Guangzhou in southern China soon, any recommendations on SPs there or nearby cities?

I've been reading the www.wsgforum.com but the majority of the leads were for street walkers and barber shops, which to me is quite risky (STDs) although the price is really low (Cdn$25-30 per shot).

If you know Chinese, things will be much more easier.
try http://www.chinapass.com/ and http://www.funinchina.com/, in both sites, if you find someone charge more than 1000RMB or 150-200USD a day, most likely, she will provide FS.

oh man....

if you can't find chicks in guangzhou you must be either blind or gay.
Unless you go during a "yan da" period girls will be everywhere.

There are girls hanging around outside most major hotels and a lot of hotels have on-site "saunas" where girls provide FS. Market rate in GZ is certainly < $250 rmb / shot. It'll be a little higher if you are going for ktv girls or sauna girls... It may also be a LOT lower if you speak mandarin/cantonese well. Have the time of your life.

First, are you Chinese?

My understanding is those SPs don't have discrimination against non-Chinese clients like those in Japan where some only take Japanese client only.

Be careful what you ask for. Don't believe anything they say on STD testing. They are good at lying everything. Think of those areas as high risk as in Africa.

Also, it's easy to get SP any place you can think of with not much restriction. But be careful, many HIV+ girls still take clients without any remorse. Also, many SPs over there are "baits" for gangs to mug you and even ransom for money.

Oh do I say SARs and TB. Remember Guangzhou is the source of SARs.

I can't remember the exact penalties. What I do remember will be something like Gulag, harsh labor for two to three years minimum. Remember China is "technically" a "communist" country and all those Gulags are still the norms.

If you were a pimp, you could face decades of harsh labour.

If you were a pimp and drug dealer, you would be excuted by firing squads (lethal injections nowadays to improve the "efficency" of excution).

If you were a pimp, an organized crime figure and worst a local communist cadres and government officials, you will be interrogated aggressive first and then executed later.

Remember, China executes more people than anybody else in the world, something they always "proud" of to show their crimes are under control compared to say the US.

I don’t know about prison terms or labour camp, etc. though I understand that in China, prostitution is illegal and by law, johns can be prosecuted as well as the providers. I’ve never heard of johns going to jail in China for buying sex, instead, I’ve heard of stories that johns got caught in the act had to pay a few thousand RMB (a few hundred C$) to the police for getting off the hook. It is more about money than law enforcement. There are also stories that the police and girls sometimes work together to trap innocent foreigners.

The advice from my "expert" friends on the subject is: foreigners should avoid dingy little joints, streetwalkers and barber shops, instead, go to the larger nightclubs for the hunt. They might cost more, but a whole lot safer and the quality of the girls is also better. Also, if you stay in a foreign managed hotel, the chances of a raid to your room are rare than normal.

If one doesn’t mind the travelling Macau, a couple hours from Guangzhou, is the best place to be – safe and lots of high quality selections at an affordable price.

This is my first time posting.

I didn’t post anything before as my Toronto experience has been quite similar to what’s being said by others. On this subject, may be I can contribute a little bit as I go to China at least twice a year. Here are my observations

Types
Night club (Karaoki), massage, independent (street).

Donation (coverted to CAD) –
Night club 50-accompany you for the whole night, 100-SOG at your hotel, 200-overnight at your hotel MSOG.
Massage 100-all inclusive (two-hour massage, sauna, SOG, BJ – ice/hot water…)
Street indep as cheap as 20

Safety
High-class night club, massage and hotels are all run by VIPs and your safety is their top priority. You will never see any police in these properties.

Hygiene
The SPs are now very educated and I would say the risks are no higher than here.

Here is my typical trip: (prices quoted here are for five-star properties)
1. Normally arrive before noon and go for a sauna massage – 2-hr full service massage, free food & drinks (100)
2. Play 18 holes (100)
3. Night club – more than 50 girls to choose from, all are extremely beautiful (dinner, drinks and karaoki) (50)
4. Bring her back to the hotel (100 hotel+200 overnight)
5. Next morning, after SOG, go play another 18 holes (100)

The only drawback is most girls and night club staff don’t speak any English. Your choices are very limited if you don’t have a Chinese friend with you.
