I like Bill Maher...and I would agree that both the Left and the Right have their own lunatic crazy fringe members.
The only difference is that the crazies on the left, though annoying, are generally harmless while the crazies on the Right tend to be heavily armed!
That, and the fact that they aren't really on the "left" anymore. What used to be the left is so distracted by identity politics that there ain't no more "left" to speak of.
