The TERB Christmas party is always a big success, but last year outdid anything that was ever organized in the past. Dredge up the discussion from last year if you want to get an idea of what it is like.
They tend to be on Thursday nights (easier for the married guys to sneak out for a while), and last year we pretty much had the Spearmint Rhino to ourselves. The house dancers seemed hospitable - unlike the Treasure's dancers who are outwardly hostile to the female guests - so I hope we go back there again this year.
We also have a toy drive and everyone who attends is asked to bring at least one new, unopened and unwrapped toy for a child. We filled at least one van last year with everything that was donated, although I didnt get a final count.
There was a free limo service from downtown and from Kipling TTC station (I think) for anyone that was transportation challenged. Sheik negotiated a special room rate at the Quality Inn and Suites that was right next door - $99 I think. There were raffle tickets sold, agencies donated free sessions and prizes, there was an auction for dates with some of the prominent TERB "celebrities", and it ran until well after midnight.
Agencies and Independents did a great job of supporting the cause: Mirage had a VIP hospitality area for the girls and guests, Vixens brought nearly a dozen girls and had a whole section blocked off down near the stage. SRM brought 10 or so MPAs, and some of the other agencies made an appearance with at least a couple girls.
It usually takes place the second or third week of December. It would be nice if people volunteered to help this year, as it has grown to be so big that Sheik really has to kill himself to cover all the details by himself. I'll start nagging him about putting up a poll soon.
