Just reflecting on this forum tonight and don't want to offend anybody but how sad have we become?

Endless discussion on one girl that apparently can't keep appointments. Lots of MP discussion - who cares.... Its an escort review board.

Recent threads on the great girls who have returned but few posts. Hopefully they are doing really well and guys want to keep them to themselves?

All I know is things seem real slow, sad, and not like a couple of years ago.

WTF is going on with Backpage? there seems to be a huge amount of talent in KW but seems a lot of it is fake, hit and miss, and unreliable. sad. If it was good there would be more activity and posts on here?

Guess the economy plays a big part in how slow things are. Just my rant for the time being. No offence to any of you ladies at all just wish things could be better for all of us.

If every active member in the KW area spent a couple of hundred on their fave and posted we could probably overtake RIM in spurring on the local economy.

Hey I never went anywhere....just been here entertaining the troops in my own little Bob Hope kind of way.

Unfortunately hobbying has been a bit of an issue for me these last few years so don't have lots of info to relay.
I think the board is what it is....it evolved for better or worse.
But as Calloway wisely pointed out ....it could be made better if folks wanted

Calloway, welcome back....my first comments in a long time. I use to let people know about the Manor, A place that I go. However, time after time I would have to listen to BS from certain members, lots of good people but a certain few that make it not worth the while. I would also review other incall services and massage as well. I have given up and very rarely even look anymore. The info on here is more or less useless currently and only US members are to blame because we have scared off any new members with BS comments or aggressive manors. We need more member like Workingman, Calloway, Guelph, Stash and females like Jessica, that give info and will also help with important (terb) info about services and other info. I always thought this was a review board for the sex industry, but obviously I am wrong. Every day I use the new posts function and have to slog through 20 pages of blah blah blah on the hope that some interesting sex industry related thread comes up. I suppose I could check out the subforums individually but incall, outcall, stripclub, MP, Hamilton, Ottawa, the advertising sections. It is easier just to use the new posts function.

I think the number of backpage ads peaked about two months ago with a lot of new ads and a bunch of out-of-towners. It's still really high. I remember year ago when there were just a few on craigslist per day. The sheer volume now of ads now is incredible in comparison. I think it's a sign of the crap economy. And we have the race to $0 going on with $50 fs specials being advertised now - $80 was the min b&g rate when I first joined. I guess more girls looking for money and more men without any.

As for the board participation - I think most people wandered over to the blue board. It's more active. I only post a review if I have something new to ad or some time to kill, and I usually only see girls who have already been reviewed, so I don't post a lot.

In reality it's mostly turned out to be a chat board for lonely, judgemental, hot headed, know-it-all, sexually frustrated men who jump down each other's throats if they don't share the same points of view.

It is really simple RESPECT all members views and don't scream at them about whatever they say. Maybe it is a schill, but how do we know. I had a simalar problem a little time ago that people thought this or that, but then other members stood up for me, still a few members take shots! If you want reviews make it easy on the members and remember you were ALL NEW at some point. If they don't know how to look up something, be a solution and help out. I don't know to do many things on this site other that post, and even that I needed someone to show me. Don't be a bully, or get use to more crappy segments, but most newbies get shot down hard. If you want to be a tuff guy, go in front of the mirror amnd talk sh#t to yourself, but lets ALL be more welcoming to newbies!

It doesn't have to be that way. Merb is owned by the same guy and is under tight control. I can't speak for perb though.

Also, it was not that way years ago, there has been a shift away from a fun, helpful, fairly trustworthy board over the years, it's hard to tell now what is a real review or a shill or a guy, or even a girl, with a vendetta against a lady and posts several negative, inaccurate comments to ruin her business. It's a real shame.

Merb seems to have a pretty good system. 1 girl, 1 thread. You say your bit, so do others, after a while there is a collection of information in one spot. No need to go refighting battles. If you like her, you review her and your bit has been said. Likewise for the other way around. However I suspect the traffic to mod ratio is a bit higher here than over there, and to set it up especially would be like herding cats. Ohhhh kitty, ohhhh.
