I saw the episode and it was funny. The main premise was that it was the 200th episode of South Park and Tom Cruise was leading a ton of celebrities in a class action lawsuit to sue the town of South Park since they're always made fun of. The only way they won't sue the town is if they hand over Muhammad because they want to harvest his "goo" since he is the only person that cannot be made fun of. Pretty much every celebrity who has been made fun of on South Park during the past 14 seasons made an appearance, including Muhammad who was shown a few times previously. Once in 2001, which was several years before the Danish cartoonists picture of Muhammad and again shortly after that incident although this time he was "censored".

I saw a clip of the shows creators being interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360 last night, and they were laughing at the death threats and said they need to relax. They no doubt did it just to prevoke them and it's working. This is actually only Part 1, and Part 2 of this episode airs this week.

The groups that are protesting he episode are idiots. If they kept their mouth shut it will just die down.
Now, everyone will be watching the next episode!

Excellent marketing PR move by the South Park guys!!!

I believe this stems from a book about how the Big M lived which is the secondary book the Muslims look to for guidance after the Koran

In it the Big M chastised someone for hanging a picture of a person in their house as only Allah can create a human being

Most Muslims do not depict the Big M for this reason and some refuse all human faces IE The Taliban went around scratching out human faces on paintings

How silly can u get

Howard stern always claimed
"Lesbians equal ratings"

Now we have
"making fun of mohammed equals ratings"

A smart writer would write a show that featured Mo banging Alah in the ass. People would complain everyone would say how bad it is, but millions would watch!

And if you added lesbians to it!!!!!!

They might be laughing now, but will it still be funny once somebody loses an eye, er, head?

So the fact that neither Rushdie or Kurt Westergard was in fact murdered makes this a yawner for you. I guess the fact that someone broke into Westegrard's house with an axe and Rushdie traveled with armed guards 24/7 for a number of years is no big deal.

If i were the creators of south park, i would be scared right now.

Well i guess they don't like religious jokes but hey south park makes fun of everyone, wouldn't call them racist.

Just because someone openly mocks and degrades anyone different than they are, does make them racist or at a minimum a bigot.

Are the creators and writers of South Park racist?

I am not one who could answer that. I have seen one maybe to episodes since it inception.

But I will say this that if your life is threatened because you mock a dead guy

well those people are dangerous and likely need a bullet to stop their passion in hate.
