I noticed internationally and even at times here in Canada that there's a subtle racism with regards to how certain groups in the Asian sex industry are treated.
In Singapore they have a ranking system by Cat (category) number how women are paid. Locals and whites are paid highest per hour, followed by mainland Chinese, while Indian, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino/Indonesian are usually are at the lowest in their tiered system.
Even when you read forums here in Canada, Koreans and CBC'S (not so much main Landers) refuse to pay the same rates for Indonesian and Filipino as if they are lower class or something???
In Hong Kong, it's probably the worst place to be a Filipino or Indonesian. You'd make a fraction what others would make and the Filipino's put up with a lot of BS treatment if you ask me. Even mainland Chinese were looked down upon by the HK's while I was there, they were constantly compared to peasants and rice farmers with no money and being uneducated.
Anyhow, it's upsetting to see and I hope the industry as a whole takes a stand against racism in the industry.
