How much longer will ol' Pat be with the Oilcans? Their record in 2010 is pathetic and I don't see any real improvment in the future.I feel sorry for the guy he MUST be frustrated is all I can say.

Well he has no Cujo or Eddi which he had in Toronto and so that should explain his coaching abilities ... Goaltenders can make coaches look like geniues ..
Everyone wants to believe that they are better or smarter than they actually are.

Not wanting to admit or realize it is the source of the frustration.

The Oilers are leading the NHL in man games lost to injury this season. By a wide margin(I recall 35+ games). Besides they just changed coaches, so I don't see them firing Quinn until at least next season.

By a wide margin ... 35+ games ?

I can think of three Leafs off the top of my head who have missed 10+ each. Kessel, Mitchell, Komisarek.
Not to mention Gustuvsson or Gunnarsson.

not many teams would do well without their starting goalie (bhulin wall) and star player (hemsky). that coupled by the fact the team is stuck with some brutally overpaid players (horcoff, penner, souray, visnovsky) makes it hard to build a winner.

coaching issues i see is that cogliano and sam gagner are not used nearly enough.

anyways, they're in the taylor hall derby. this is quinn's master plan. taylor hall and jordan eberle to be the next toews and kane. :)
