Their site has all kinds of crap about due dates, but I'm frustrated trying to find the first day they will accept online filing.
Thanks for any help.

You can send it in anytime before April 30.

That being said, CRA is currently stockpiling T1 returns until February 11. This means that they are not processing 2012 returns until that time, then the floodgates open.

This date was told to me from a person at RevCan,but even they weren't sure. With you mentioning it also,I can assume that it probably is good.
Thanks!

Here's a little Netfile secret. Netfile has always permitted a grace period that extends beyond April 30th in case the system gets overloaded. However, it's best to check their netfile website to confirm if it exists for this year too.

Only get the extension if there'senough returns to overload the system. If you're in the position of owing why would you take the chance of getting a late filing penalty? Filing on Feb 11th or Apr 30th doesn't change anything on the bottom line.

The squirrels spent the Summer collecting and hiding their nuts. The hares spent their Summer playing silly games and fornicating. Then Winter came and the hares were staving. The CRA then knocked on the squirrels' door to confiscate half their nuts to feed the hares because it is only fair to re-distribute the wealth, err I mean nuts.
