Question: Lakeside Resorts in Muskoka and Area?

Does anyone have any recommendations wrt high-end resorts in the Muskokas and area.

Read a lot about places like Taboo and Red Leaves on Lake Rosseau and seem to hear both good and bad, nothing that stands out as truly spectacular and world-class?

If anyone has experienced or knows someone who has experienced a great high-end resort I'd appreciate any tips?

Taboo is very nice, lots of stuff to do. Deerhurst also nice, but some rooms/units have not been upgraded in some time. I have not been to Grandview, but have heard good things.

If it's a family weekend, the Delawanna Inn has a great set up for kids, including day camps and baby-sitting so the adults can play too.

Although not tthe Muskoka area I highly reccomend VIAMDE RESORT AND SPA located about 40 km NE of Peterborough on Hwy 28 N. Ive been to a couple of weddings there very nice,right on Stoney Lake.

Im NOT shilling just like the place.
