I guess that's the real question to determine if this model works. If you feel you are victim then this is good and we 'Johns' apologize. If you see yourselves as offering a paid service and this is your business then this is bad since it makes it difficult to do business with your clients and will severely affect your income.

Please be honest.

One of the local women's group advocates here in London was asked what about women who willingly do this, enjoy it even. She said there is no such thing. A women who claims to do this willingly has been brainwashed by society (men) into thinking this is all she is worth doing. Or she is too afraid of men to admit she is a victim. Condescending bitch.

I wouldn't be so sure. The human mind can rationalize a lot of things

That woman is probably a sex-negative activist who thinks that all SPs experience "false consciousness"- which is indeed a very condescending thing to say- it implies that she thinks her morals and ideas are more "correct" than those of us who do, in fact, truly enjoy our work.

As a University student who already has a part-time position and a solid plan for the future, I was not by any means "forced" into being an SP. I chose it for myself when I recognized that I truly love pleasing others- and that I am remarkably skilled at doing so. Frankly- I'm living out the dream of my horny self: getting paid to get off and being true to my slutty nature.

I am not a victim. I'm a horny entrepreneur.

I will not be so naive as to say there are not some ladies in the industry who have addictions or other issues that led to them doing what they do. Whether they consider themselves victims is not something I have asked. I also know as many, or more, who are clean living, have families, and are 110% in it as a clean business, with plans for the future. I'd say out of both categories the majority of ladies I know in this field are also in school/therapy and working to improve their stations in life. I should also note that this could all be said for many other working ladies in a billion and one different industries from bank manage to CEO to that girl who served you at timmies this morning.
I, as I can only really answer for myself, am definitely not a victim. Did I see myself in this field when I applied to university a few years ago? No. Honestly, I did not see myself here 6 months ago! But I made this choice with a clear head and a desire to explore myself further. I love what I do. Sure, days that are slow or filled with no shows are frustrating but days where I know I have helped someone offload some stress, get out of their head, or just have some fun, make up for that 10 fold. To assume none of us like what we do is ridiculous, I think that lady has some seriously repressed issues to sort out.
