So i have never checked "Tineye" out but just did. Very cool But just wondering how they find this pics or where they are comparing the pics against. For example, I assumed they were pics used on the internet but I did a search on mine and it wasnt picked up. I realize it cant compare every picture on the internet but then what do they compare it too?

I don’t know how Tineye compares pictures, but one thing I have noticed is that any changes made to the original (i.e. adding text or phone numbers), Tineye won’t pick it up. Maybe a “techie” in the area can give you a more technical answer.
It uses a Google-like search engine to crawl for photos and tag a digital signature to it. I'm not a techie - so my terms might be off a little.
I've used it before to find my Flickr images used against my permission - and it was able to find ones that had quite a bit of alterations to them. Works really well.

Tineye, from what I can see, is designed to help the fellas pick out a fake or a lady who has made several changes in her names over the days, weeks, months and years she's been in the biz.
Jolee it doesn't pick you up because you're not a fake.

Google is working on similar algorithm what searches Google Images for matches. There is an app for Android (and likely iPhone) called Goggles that allows you to take a picture of any object and the app scans it and searches for similar images on the internet. It will recognize logos, brands, etc. Check it out sometime, it's pretty cool.
