Is it just me or is the Search Function a little fucked?

Was trying to find some threads that I started and I couldn't figure how to do it with the new TERB format?
Am I missing something (is there way to find threads started by a member) or is that search function gone?

Last I checked... yes, it was a little fucked.

I too have tried to search for threads/ posts I KNOW I WROTE, and I get bupkis!

Honestly, (in my experience at least) the search function has been hit and miss since the August update... and got worse with the "New Year's" update.

Fred, time to call in the experts:

Thanks for the PM Fred, but I already saw that announcement... I read the instructions yet again (maybe they changed since the last 3 times I read them... or since the Search function worked properly prior to ther August update) and tried the search again. To make it easy, I search for a KEY WORD(s) I use all the time...

Search parameters:

Keyword: Mrs. CG
Username : Cycleguy007
Forum: The Lounge (where 99.5% of my posts take place)
Any thread, any time frame...

These were my results:

How can this be? Everyone knows I go on about Mrs. CG all the time, and yet the search can't find a SINGLE post???? Tell me the search is working fine again, or tell me what I'm doing wrong... I used the search function MANY times very successfully prior to the August "upgrade" and have tried many times since the August upgrade to varying degrees of success which was rather dismal at best... And since the NY's upgrade, it has been even worse.

FYI- I am using the latest version of Firefox on a Windows XP OS.

What part of this did you not understand
1- To search for posts by a specific user click on the user name then select : View Forum Posts

He can see some of his posts but cannot search a specific word in the lounge that he made.
I know that Sheik...that's because The Lounge posts were not indexed for a long time, per decision by System Mgr
His original question was in regard to searching for his posts in the Lounge. He can find those by clicking on his profile.

Because Fred, the lounge posts have been disabled from the search engine and have been since August. Viewing forum posts for a specific user doesnt allow you to search for a specific word in the lounge

OH... with this new info it is no wonder the search wasn't working properly for me for the last 5 months...
