Cleaning out the garage. Found 4 snow tires in good condition. For a Toyota Corola. Have a new car and tires for it. Anyone have an idea what I can get for them? Prefer to sell to a shop for ease.
personally, i'd hang on to them until the fall if you can - tough time of year to sell snows. I doubt a shop would buy them, but i could be wrong. Other than that, I think you're looking at Kijiji.
There are used tire shops that might buy them, but probably for bottom dollar.
Kijiji costs nothing. If they're still good for a couple of winters put them in for $250 OBO.
Check out kijiji and craigslist and compare prices, then go from there. A pet peeve of mine, if you do list them put the size of tires and not just the car they came off of.
I say that because I have a feeling that they are more than 7 years old. Even tires that have never been used, if they are more than 7 years old are worthless.
You may get lucky and find some idiot on craigslist who does not know that older tires are worthless ane will buy them from you. But a lot of people know how to read the DOT date stamp on the tire. Really, if they are more than 4 or 5 years old, they're junk and you will need to pay to get rid of them.
That's for the tips guys. Doing more renos right now so I going to need to call the got junk guys anyway. I think I'll include them in the pile and be done with them.

If your going to junk them, take the time to put up an ad on Kijiji. Just say $100 take or leave it, you come to me cash in hand. Afterwards head to the nearest strip club of choice and purchase 5 dances.
